The durable and lightweight Storm 26 provides simple upkeep and operation to help young riders find the best line and stop on a dime. Keeping a kid’s bike tough enough to take all the thrills and spills of becoming a better rider, but light enough to keep them motivated is a challenge that our engineering team took very seriously. Storm 26’s lightweight, durable aluminum frame and size-specific fork travel of 100mm combine with a simple, lightweight drivetrain, quality mechanical disc brakes and optimized fit for riders from 128 to 145cm, building confidence and a love for dirt that’ll last a lifetime.

It's important to rightsize suspension travel for kids bikes to balance comfortable, progressive ride feel, while maintaining  light weight for maneuverablility. Storm 26, 24, and 20 each have suspension travel chosen for the individual bike size, and kid weight.

So often, kid’s bikes are geared so high that they (or you) end up having to push up hills and getting going from a stop makes learning that much harder. With Storm’s lower gears, balance kicks in sooner, and hills no longer grind your family fun to halt.

Every Storm features quality brakes with short reach levers that are easy to pull with kid-sized hands. That way, when they need to stop or slow down, it doesn’t take every ounce of energy they’ve got.
