Babboe Baby Seat


The Babboe Baby Seat is the ideal way to transport 2 to 8 month old babies in a cargo bike. The advantage of a baby seat in comparison to a Maxi-Cosi carrier is that a baby seat takes up much less space. On the bench next to the baby seat there's even space for a second baby seat, a child or another seat, such as a toddler seat. The baby seat fits all types of Babboe cargo bikes.

Please note that the baby seat does not come with an baby seat head support, even though this is advisable for the very little ones.


Installation on a Babboe City
Installing a baby seat on your cargo bike is very simple. You can use the small holes in the box for the seat belts, so there's no need to drill into the box. This way the baby seat is a bit tilted towards the inside, but it doesn't limit its functionality. If you want the baby seat to sit straight on the bench, a small hole will have to be drilled in the backrest of the box (between the two holes of the seat belts) to attach it. Keep in mind that if you want to use the rain tent in combination with the baby seat, you need to unzip it a little bit on the side of the steering wheel.

Please note that the baby seat cannot be used in combination with a Maxi-Cosi carrier and the second bench.


Installation on other cargo bikes
To install the baby seat, drill a small hole in the backrest of the box (between the two holes of the seat belts) on the steering wheel side of the cargo bike.
